Can you afford to ignore the BlackBerry® Revolution?

Do you feel like there are not enough hours in the day sometimes? How many times have you sat in reception areas, train stations, airports or even traffic jams and thought you could be making better use of your time?

If only you had access to your email and calendar easily and quickly without having the hassle of unpacking your laptop (if indeed you have one), waiting for it to start up and then trying to find a wireless connection that lets you connect to the internet. All this before you even get connected to your emails!

Keeping in touch with your office and your customers while on the move has never been more important in today's fast moving business environment. Now there is a simpler and quicker way of getting your emails, calendar, tasks, contacts, maps, applications, internet and more while on the move...with a stylish and user friendly BlackBerry®.

There are a whole bunch of benefits to having BlackBerry® in your pocket. The most important one being that you remain connected by both email and phone, wherever you are, keeping you in real-time sync with your business. With BlackBerry® you can work and be contacted anywhere, giving customers a reassuring confidence in your business.

BlackBerry® utilises a GPRS network connection to give users the benefits of a complete email communications solution combined with your usual mobile phone coverage of the UK and beyond.

BlackBerry® uses PUSH technology - the ability to receive emails without having to dial up or request it. The email is literally "PUSHED" directly to the device in a similar way a text message is sent to a mobile phone so users are notified of new arrivals the moment they arrive.

In addition BlackBerry® offers many of the features users expect from their desktop email clients. Every device has the ability to display attachments including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Adobe PDF files and the ability to display TIFF, PNG and JPEG image files. So users can fully interact with their emails as they need to.

Handsets come in many forms, from the classic "wide" blackberry design to typical mobile size. For every user - whether corporate, SME or individual, there's a BlackBerry® handset that will meet your needs.

BlackBerry® mobile technology can suit any size and type of business too. In a recent study commissioned by Research in Motion the typical end user said they recovered around an hour per work day by using the BlackBerry®, which translates to the recovery of approximately 196 hours per year, assuming a five-day workweek and 50 working weeks per year. Users were also asked how much personal time they recovered each day because of BlackBerry®, and 77% estimated their daily personal time savings was around 27 minutes. That recovered personal time led to a feeling of improved quality of life and a greater loyalty to their business/employer. A staggering 99% of respondents said that BlackBerry® had enhanced their workflow efficiency, referring to the processes used to complete tasks and projects by interacting with colleagues and business systems. Facts and figures like these should not be ignored.

If you already have your own Server then you probably already have the main software requirement to implement the technology (usually Microsoft Exchange Server). The only other requirements are BlackBerry® Enterprise Manager Software and a Blackberry® Enterprise enabled device. Installation and set-up is very quick and can be done in just a couple of hours by one of our experienced engineers.

WYSIWYG-IT has extensive experience implementing this technology on behalf of our clients and use it in-house to maximise our own productivity.
